I stumbled across this old gem the other day at work (at work, don’t you know) and it made me feel all warm and nostalgic. This is the sort of song you should belt out in the shower or at a camp fire as you tunelessly strum a guitar to impress someone. If you don’t have a guitar, I suggest you get one solely for this purpose. Or a ukelele – both the hipsters and hippie burn-outs will fall at your feet upon seeing the ukelele.
I digress. If you’ve never heard of HMHB, I suggest you dust off the old record player and give their record Back in the DHSS (the government department that dealt with the unemployed in the 1980s, d’oh) another listen. Alternatively, check out the album on Spotify here for free .
